  “City Cycling” ("STADTRADELN") is a European initiative from the Climate Alliance. Members of the Climate Alliance support the reduction of CO² emissions and stand up for climate protection. This year almost 300 local authorities in Germany will take part in the initiative.

On the 15^th of April,  Estonia celebrated Diversity Day. On that day, we recognize and honor the importance and singularity of every person in businesses, organizations, and the society as a whole. Diversity is innate to nature and to people – it makes the world more exciting. There are people around us who are not the same as us; nevertheless, we all are equally important and needed.

The year 2014 at Transcom Poland was rich in charity actions and full of compassion and we can be proud of our employees’ commitment.  We continued our standard Transcom Cares activities as collecting food for shelters, donating school supplies and giving sweets to orphan children on Christmas Day. But the Transcom Cares project that will stay in our hearts for a long time was the charity run we did for one of our employees’ daughter – Ania, who is diagnosed with autism.

In the contact center industry, middle managers’ leadership can make the difference between success and failure of services and projects. In Transcom we deliver services that engage large teams, sometime about 300-400 people. In each case, in front of these large teams we count on a few brave men and women leading the services. At some point in their careers they decided to step forward. They chose not to remain in the background and found the motivation to help a group of people to achieve a set of objectives and results that would ensure the whole projects continuity.

Twelve years ago, in Transcom Isla Sicilia we launched a service to support of our client's employees in all HR related questions. The client is one of the largest global financial institutions. Before Transcom's involvement our client's employees had direct contact with their HR department. Now they need to call us with all their inquiries.

When I started working in 2001 as a Customer Service Representative for a new company that had just opened a new center in Leon, I never imagined that, after 13 years, I would end up being the Call Center Manager at this site.

On July 28 and 29, Independence celebrations were held in Peru and we decided to decorate our Lima center in red and white, the colors of our national flag, and organize "Entonándole al Peru" a singing and dancing contest among all the employees. We encouraged our employees to participate with Peruvian songs and dances.

The Team Leader Offsite is an annual event where all Lithuanian Team Leaders and Quality Specialists meet in order to strengthen the bond with Transcom, to get a deeper understanding of our company and the customer service business and of course, to get to know each other.

At Transcom we know that one of the key success factors in our business is our adaptability. That is why we at Transcom Sevilla strive to differentiate ourselves from our competitors by having well-trained sales teams, with the ability to sell any product, from insurance, up to banking, telecommunications, leisure, etc... It helps us to get the best results for our clients. For any outbound team, to reach sales targets is essential for the success of the service; however, it is not easy to achieve high performance.

The Transcom Cares team in San Antonio, Texas has once again teamed up with Spurs Sports and Entertainment, sponsoring hundreds of tickets for the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA to attend the San Antonio Stars basketball game. Since April, we have had the great pleasure of organizing three events for the community, with one AHL San Antonio Rampage game, and two WNBA San Antonio Stars games.
