Transcom Norway moves to new premises in Fredrikstad
Having housed Transcom Fredrikstad in the same premises since the startup in 1997, in April the time finally had come to move to our new premises. As the former building was old and worn, our employees and clients had looked forward to the move for a long time and are very pleased with the new facilities. The building is specialized to meet Transcom’s business requirements as well as the requirements of health, safety and environment for our employees.

The CCW 2015 took place at the Estrel Convention Center in Berlin in the end of February. The 17th edition of Europe’s largest fair for customer service, call center and communication has a long history and the who’s who of the industry traditionally meets at CCW. This year over 7,600 visitors attended the fair to gain a complete insight about innovations, new technologies and trends in the customer service and call center industry.

Removing the fear of closing a sale
The moment of truth of any sales services is when the agent has to make the final question and ask for confirmation to close the deal. But it is also a loaded moment for most of the agents that may experience what we call: fear of closing. Experience tells us that we can only influence around a 50 to 55% of the persons we contact during our workday. Although we would like that all these individuals accepted our offer or product, we know that this is not at realistic target.

Transcom Italy wins award for “Best contact center outsourcing partner in 2014”
The prestigious award was awarded on February 12 by a panel of experts appointed by the CMMC Club, an Italian association that brings together companies and professionals working in the customer experience management industry. The award, which can be thought of an Oscar in the contact center sector, is assigned by a panel of experts who choose the winners based on a ranking using specific parameters. This year’s award had a special focus on “innovation” and, naturally, on satisfying the needs of all the players involved, and customers and users of the service in particular.
