  “City Cycling” ("STADTRADELN") is a European initiative from the Climate Alliance. Members of the Climate Alliance support the reduction of CO2 emissions and stand up for climate protection. This year almost 300 local authorities in Germany will take part in the initiative.

Transcom Barrie in Canada supports the Big Bike ride for Heart & Stroke

In May, the Transcom team in Barrie (Ontario, Canada) took part in their 4th Big Bike ride for Heart & Stroke, raising a grand total of $1985.00 for a very worthy cause. The Big Bike is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies, and groups. Our 30-seat Big Bike was piloted by a driver from the Heart & Stroke foundation, and powered by 29 enthusiastic riders from Transcom.

Transcom Lima celebrates its 2nd anniversary!

Two years have passed since we started our operations here in Lima. During this time we have enjoyed learning experiences that have helped us to support the teams’ growth and consolidation. We know that our journey has just begun, and that we’ve got a long road ahead of us, but we are optimistic since growth in recent months has become increasingly apparent. During the last weekend in November, we organized an activity to celebrate our anniversary, in which all the Lima staff participated. The day started early creating teams to compete in various activities throughout the day.

Transcom Portugal celebrated its 10th anniversary this year! Transcom Portugal was established in 2003 with approximately 200 employees serving a single client. Since then, we have added many new clients in various industries. Our team has worked closely together, always with the objective of delivering great customer experience and solid operational results for our clients. We are grateful for our clients’ trust in us, which has allowed us to grow and develop together over the years.

This month, several weeks of training, hard work, focus, concentration and learning new things came to an end with one goal in mind: Creating Oustanding Customer Experience! During the training-period, our fantastic employees really demonstrated their potential. For the first time since the start-up of this project in the late summer, we are now testing our ability to deliver as agreed. Monday morning at 7:30 a.m., the Quality Manager and Sales Team Leader served breakfast in the call center to get a healthy and flying start. And that was exactly what we did.

It’s becoming a great tradition at Transcom Vilnius to participate in the annual bicycle marathon – “Velomaratonas” – which is the largest cycling event in Lithuania.

Cycling is becoming more and more popular in Vilnius – thus this is a great way to get into the Transcom team spirit, get some exercise and get together with your colleagues outside of the office surroundings – while helping to promote this environmentally friendly mode of transportation in our city.

Breaking barriers: Transcom incorporates six visually impaired agents in Chile

Within the framework of the Agora project and in collaboration with local and national Chilean authorities, Transcom has launched the selection, training and incorporation of people with visual impairment in its center in Concepción, Chile. So far, we have hired six blind officers. Currently performing back-office tasks, the new agents are working in an environment suited to their abilities and under the same conditions as their peers.
